The 800 acres of Broken Bone Farms, is tucked into the rugged hills of beautiful Robertson County, Kentucky.

The Autry’s initially purchased the farm as a hunting sanctuary. But after the purchase of the first Rocky Mountain Horse, in 1989 the farm quickly turned into one of the largest Rocky Mountain Horse breeding operations in the area.

While the horses of Broken Bone Farms, are well known on the show circuit, the main thrust of the operation is producing show quality, even-tempered, smooth gaited trail horses for the average man. Broken Bone Farms has around 8 hours of trails dozed into the hills and valleys. Creeks and lakes are scattered across the farm and make for interesting outings. Wildlife is bountiful and provides many challenges that Rocky Mountain Horses are well equipped to handle.
